The Petitioner submits that she has already been terminated by the employer. As such, she ought to approach the Tribunal under Section 9 of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Regulation Act, 1977. 2.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Education Officer may, at least, be directed to handover the service book of the Petitioner which she has been asking for, since November, 2024, as absorption proceedings have been initiated and she is likely to be absorbed.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. 4.

Respondent No.4, the Education Officer (Secondary), shall ensure that the request of the Petitioner for her service book, would be considered by following the due procedure of the law and appropriate steps shall be taken, within a period of 30 days from today.
