The order impugned in this Petition is of an order dated 4th March 2024 of suspension of approval granted to a public testing laboratory. That 23-day suspension is scheduled to commence on 10th June 2024.

Since we are informed that the Petitioner has availed of the statutory remedy of an Appeal which has been filed before the State, and a stay application also has been filed in the said Appeal, the suspension is likely to start before either the stay application or the main appeal can even be considered. We put it to the parties to come up with a workable solution. The parties jointly submit that the 1/2

10-WP-7736-2024.doc appeal filed before the State would be dealt with finally no later than 26th June 2024, and until then no coercive steps shall be taken. 3.

Considering that the suspension is only for 23 days, it would be appropriate to defer the scheduled commencement of the suspension from 10th June 2024 to 27th June 2024. 4.

The parties agree that the Petition may be disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
