Rule. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for the respondents.

The only direction sought by the petitioners is for expeditious consideration of the applications moved by the petitioner seeking regularization of the lands held by them. One such application is dated 12/12/2023 (page 46 of the writ petition).

In aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Respondent No.1 to consider the petitioner's application dated 12/12/2023 in accordance with law and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from receiving copy of this order. Needless to state that if the petitioner is not satisfied with the outcome of that decision, he is free to take such steps as are permissible in law. 4.
