Rule. The Rule is made returnable immediately at the request of and with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioners have filed an application under Section 28A(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 on 16 January 1995. The grievance is that this Application is still not disposed of by Respondent No. 1.

Ms. Bane, learned AGP states that if the Application is indeed not disposed of, then, it will be disposed of in
64-WP-7888-24.DOCX accordance with law. Respondent No. 1 must file compliance report in this Court by 30 June 2025 by giving an advance copy to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner. 5.
In the peculiar facts of this case, we direct the Respondent No. 1 to hear the Petitioners and pass a reasoned order disposing of the re-determination application dated 05 November 2015 at Exhibit - B(pg Nos. 60-63 of the paper book).

All contentions of all parties on merits are, however, left open.
7.
The rule is made absolute in the above terms without any cost orders.
8.
All concerned parties are to act upon the authenticated copy of this order.
