The issue raised by the Petitioner is that though she has downloaded and taken a print out of the final result sheet of the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test, 2019 held on 19th January 2020, she did not get her passing certificate. She is shown to have obtained 55.32% and the cut off percentage for passing the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test, 2019 was 55%.

The learned Advocate representing Respondent No.3 has filed an Affidavit-in-Reply dated 4th February, 2025 through Ms.Anuradha Oak, Commissioner, Maharashtra State Examination Council Pune. A photostat copy of the OMR sheet certified by the Superintendent, is placed at page No.31. The number of questions solved by the Petitioner are 150 and the marks scored by the Petitioner is shown to be 45. This works out to 31.91%, and hence it was declared that the Petitioner has failed.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions that the Petitioner is willing to lodge a complaint with the Cyber Cell at Nashik. The learned Advocate representing Respondent No.3 is also instructed to state that the Department also desires that there should be an investigation. 4.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with permission to the Petitioner to approach the Cyber Cell at Nashik and lodge a complaint within 15 days. Thereafter, the Cyber Cell would proceed to carry out the investigation with the co-operation of the Petitioner and Respondent No.3. After the investigation is

complete, the law would take its own course. If the Petitioner finds that her complaint is found to be truthful and if she is found to have passed the TET exam, she may ask for such a certificate and if her grievance is not redressed, she would be at liberty to approach this Court for redressal.
