By this Petition, the challenge is to the order dated 19th March 2024, rejecting the Application filed by the Petitioner for cancellation of the registration of the Respondent No. 2-Society. 3.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that under Section 3A of the Societies Registration Act, 1860, there is prohibition against registration of Society with undesirable names being a name which is identical and nearly resembles the name by which any other society has been previously registered as to be likely to deceive the public or members of either society. Pointing out to the nearly identical names of the Petitioner as well as the Respondent No. 2-Society, he submits that the Application was therefore rightly moved Shubham Talle 1 of

Issue notice to the Respondents returnable on 13th December, 2024. In addition to Court notice, advocate for the Petitioner to serve the Respondents by private notice by all possible modes of service and file affidavit of service before the next date.
