DATE :
30th JULY 2024 ORDER:
1.
Learned counsels submit that they would take instructions from their respective clients regarding exploring possibility of amiable settlement.

2.
Learned counsel for the wife submits that the husband is in arrears approximately to the tune of Rs. 96 Lakhs towards payment of maintenance as per the impugned order.
3.
Learned senior counsel appearing for the husband disputes the said statement and submits that the expenses of the child have been taken care of by the husband.
4.
Considering the nature of the dispute between the parties, I am not inclined to get into the controversy on the payments made by husband and the claim of wife regarding the arrears, at this stage. 5.
Since the respective counsels submit that parties would make an attempt for amicable settlement, the issue with regard to arrears towards maintenance, if any, shall be considered, if the matter is required to be heard on merits. However, it is clarified that the husband is at liberty to gracefully pay the amount towards the maintenance as directed by the Court. If any such amount is paid, husband is at liberty to place on record the details regarding payment. 6.
To enable the parties to make a genuine attempt to explore the possibility of amicable settlement, list the petitions on 13th August 2024.
