1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Against the order dated 29th July 2022 passed by the Dy. Director Land Records, Pune, learned AGP submits that appropriate remedy for the petitioner is to Digitally signed by LATA SUNIL PANJWANI Date:

2026.04.18 11:22:02 +0530 LATA SUNIL PANJWANI file an appeal/revision under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code before the Hon'ble Minister, Revenue and Forest Department.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the records clearly indicate that though some portion of the land may have gone into the road, however, the width of the land belonging to

LSP 2 12 wp 8090.25.doc the petitioner is affected and this is the precise grievance, as in case of road widening in the present case, length may reduce but the width of the property in question cannot reduce. 3.

All these contentions can be raised by the petitioner before the Hon'ble Minister in case the revision is preferred. If the revision is preferred within a period of 4 weeks from today, the Hon'ble Minister is requested to decide the same expeditiously. 4.

The Petitioner is represented by learned counsel through legal aid. We appreciate the assistance of learned counsel Tandel in effectively representing the petitioner's case before this Court. 5.

Keeping all contentions open and with the aforesaid liberty, the petition stands disposed of.
