Our attention is invited to the order dated 23rd August 2021 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 12572 of 2019, which is annexed at Exhibit-D to the petition, wherein this Court in paragraph 8 has observed thus:

"8.

In the facts of the case the petition seeking the said relief is not maintainable. However, in the eventuality that there are vacancies in the same category in which the petition is working and in the eventuality the petitioner filed an application. The Nashik Municipal Corporation may consider their applications sympathetically. "

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in terms of paragraph-8 of the said order, the petitioners have already Dinesh Sherla 1/2

912-cwp-8136-24.doc made representation dated 17th May 2022 which is not yet decided. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent No.2 - Corporation be directed to decide the said representation expeditiously.

We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Patil for the respondent-Corporation.

This Petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 - Corporation to dispose of representation dated 17th May 2022 in terms of paragraph 8 of the order passed by this Court, as expeditiously as possible and in any case preferably within a period of 8 weeks from today.
