The present writ petition challenges an order of rejection of stay application filed before the revisional authority.

The counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the direction given by the Division Bench of this Court on 12 April 2024, the revisional authority heard the petitioners on stay application and by an order dated 6 May 2024, status-quo was granted and the application for stay was closed for orders. However, by an order dated 29 May 2024, the application for stay was rejected.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable after two weeks from today. Mr. Badgujar waives service on behalf of the respondent nos.1, 2 and 3.

In the meantime, till the next date of hearing, there will be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (b). The prayer clause (b) of the writ petition reads as under:- "(b) that pending the hearing and final disposal of the present Petition, the effect and implementation of the order dated 25th May, 2024 passed in the Stay Application taken out in Revision Application No.87 of 2024 be stayed and the order being the order dated 6th April, 2024 be continued till the hearing final disposal of the final Revision Application till further continuation of the same for a period of 4 weeks in case, if the same is decided contrary, on such terms as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."
