The impugned order has referred to various entries prior to 1950 wherein the caste is shown as Maratha. These entries are contrary to the claim of the Petitioner. The main contention of the Petitioner is based on the orders passed by the Division Benches of this Court in respect of the Petitioner's relatives. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to file additional affidavit to provide specific statements as to the exact relation of the Petitioner with these candidates.

The learned AGP also seeks time to take instructions whether the orders are challenged by the State Government which are relied upon by the Petitioner.
