PATIL, JJ DATE : 4th SEPTEMBER, 2024 P.C. :- Considering the limited request made by the petitioners of expeditious consideration of the steps to be taken by the Revenue Authorities pursuant to the consent terms filed in Second Appeal No. 207 of 2005 on 29th January 2021, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

It is the case of the petitioners that in the aforesaid Second
2/3 Appeal in which the respondent no.5 was also a party, consent terms came to be executed between them. On the basis of that, the petitioners claim interest in land bearing Survey No. 85/2. They made a request to the Tahsildar to take necessary steps and correct revenue record.

On 28th June 2024, the learned Assistant Government Pleader was directed to take necessary instructions as regards the steps taken pursuant to the communication dated 29th December 2023. Today the learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that on 25th March 2024 the Tahsildar has directed the Circle Officer, Kalyan Additional to take necessary steps and submit the compliance report.

In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that the respondent nos. 2 to 4 shall take necessary steps and correct the revenue record in accordance with the consent terms. The same be done within a period of three months from receiving copy of this order.

Writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions. 6.
