The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that on the scheduled date the possession could not be taken for administrative difficulties. The next date for taking possession is now scheduled as 7th August 2024.

In case the petitioner seeks police protection while undertaking the exercise of recovering possession, it is free to apply for the same with the authorities in accordance with law.
