In the above Writ Petition, what is challenged is the order dated 27th May, 2024 passed by the District Collector, [State Excise], Pune, under which the FL-III license of the Petitioner is cancelled. 2.

The learned AGP appearing on behalf of the State, submitted that the order of the District Collector has been challenged before the Commissioner of State Excise under Section 137 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 2019.

Considering that there is an alternate remedy available to the Petitioner, and which has already been availed of by him, we are not inclined to entertain the above Writ Petition. We would however request the Appellate Authority to hear the Appeal as expeditiously as possible. 4.

The above Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed with the above observations. No order as to costs.
