The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits, on instructions, that after this Petition was filed, a report has been submitted to the Commissioner by the City Engineer. Now he only prays that the Commissioner should consider the report of the City Engineer and by following the due procedure laid down in law, take the matter to a logical end.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. We would expect the Commissioner of the Pune Municipal SUB

40-WP-8624-2025.odt Corporation to deal with the report of the City Engineer in accordance with the procedure laid down in law. If the stakeholders are required to be granted an opportunity of representation/hearing, he shall act in accordance with the procedure. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 120 days.
