Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Petition is filed seeking direction to Respondent- Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Region, Kolhapur to decide a proposal submitted by Respondent- Management. 3.
The learned AGP states that instructions are called for but they are not received. If the proposal is pending and not already rejected then the Deputy Director of Education will process the proposal within a period of four weeks. Let the decision be taken within a period of eight weeks subject to other urgent public duties, as the directions issued by this Court in Part II Clause A(i) to (iii) of Judgment dated 16 April 2024 in the matter of Nitin B. Tadge Vs. State of Maharashtra in Writ Petition No. 204 of 2019 and other Husen 1
72 WP-8914-2024.doc companion petitions. If the Respondent Education Authority proceeds to grant proposal as prayed, consequent benefits and orders will follow.

We make it clear that by this order we have only directed disposal of the pending proposal as per law and we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the proposal. 5.
Writ Petition is disposed of in above terms.
