The complaint preferred by the petitioner under provision of Section 154B (27) of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies

2/3 Act, 1960 came to be allowed by the Deputy Registrar. Being aggrieved, the Co-operative Society approached the Divisional Joint Registrar by filing an appeal with stay application. The appeal was admitted but the stay application was rejected. The society thereafter approached the State Government in exercise of its revisional powers. By order dated 26th May, 2022 the order passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar came to be stayed. In this background, the petitioner seeks expeditious consideration of the revision application preferred before the State Government. 4.

Considering the fact that the period of more than two years has lapsed since filing of the revision application, it is directed that the State Government shall within a period of eight weeks of receiving copy of this order, decide the revision application in accordance with law after hearing all the parties. 5.

The petitioner shall send copy of this order to the respondent no.4 for information.

Writ petition is disposed of.

It is open for the petitioner to seek expeditious consideration of the appeal pending before the Divisional Joint Registrar.
