One of the contentions urged on behalf of the petitioner is that proceedings under Section 48 (7) were heard on 18/08/2021 after which the same were closed for passing orders. The Tahsildar has decided the proceedings after period of more than two and half years on 04/01/2024.

In the light of aforesaid, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 05/09/2024. The respondent no.2 to file affidavit furnishing his explanation for the delay in deciding the proceedings.
