DATED : 8TH JULY 2024 P.C.:
1.
Heard. Mr Ajay Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner. The petition challenges the order dated 12th March 2021, passed by RERA by which the petitioner has been directed to repay to the respondent-complainant Rs.22,10,297 along with 10% interest from the date of payment till final realization, in lieu of the failure of the petitioner to give two flats to the respondent who had booked the same with the petitioner.
2.
The only argument advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, is a plea for time of four months. It is necessary to note that the impugned order is dated 12th March 2021 and substantial period of time has already passed, indicating the petitioner procrastinating for the payment of the value of the flats, which he has been ordered to refund. Considering the nature of the plea Sharada
28-WP-9487-2024.doc which is only for extension of time I do not see any reason to extend the time as sufficient time is already availed by the petitioner.
3.
The Petition is dismissed. No costs.
