Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition is filed to challenge the impugned order to the extent that it directs payment of interim maintenance from the date of the order. She submits that the petitioner would be entitled to interim maintenance from the date of application. She further submits that respondent is in arrears to the tune of Rs.6,25,000/- as per the impugned order. 2.
Learned counsel for the respondent seeks time on the ground that the arguing counsel is not available.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner would be agreeable to explore possibility of amicable settlement.

Since arguing counsel for the respondent is not available, by way of last chance to the respondent, list the petition on 10th December 2024.

In the meantime the respondent shall make arrangements to make payment towards arrears of maintenance as per the impugned order.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that if the respondent is agreeable to explore possibility of amicable settlement, he would intimate the same to the Advocate for the petitioner. 7.
It is clarified that the parties are at liberty to exchange their offers regarding amicable settlement.
