The challenge raised in the present writ petition is to a notice dated 25/04/2024 issued by the Office of the Collector in the light of the complaint made by the respondent no.5. It is the case of the petitioners that the said respondent no.5 has no locus whatsoever to make such complaint. Similarly, the allegations made in the complaint are unfounded.

We find that at this stage, the Collector has merely called upon the petitioners to submit their written say after which he would consider the said complaint. While filing such reply, the petitioners are free to raise all their grounds including questioning the locus of the respondent no.5. The learned Assistant Government Pleader informs that the next date of the proceedings 1/2

In view of aforesaid, keeping all grounds raised by the petitioners open for being urged before the Collector, the writ petition is disposed of. The Collector shall decide the complaint on its own merits and preferably within a period of two months from the next date of the proceedings.
