The challenge in the present petition is to the order passed by the District Magistrate in exercise of powers conferred under Rule 107(d-1)(vi) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Rules, 1961.

This Court, in the case of Amit Prakash Jori v. State of Maharashtra & Ors., (Writ Petition No. 781 of 2024, decided on February 6, 2025), has categorically held that the exercise of power by the District Magistrate under the aforesaid provision is of a ministerial and executionary nature, not involving any quasijudicial discretion or adjudication.

In view of the above, no writ can be entertained against such an order, the writ petition stands dismissed. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
