The above Writ Petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(a) That this Hon'ble Court may allow the present Writ Petition; (b) That the Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct that the Consumer Complaint bearing No.173 of 2023 filed by the Petitioner before District Consumer Forum Thane be decided within a period of 6 months or within such period as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case;"

Taking into consideration the exigencies of work before the District Consumer Forum, Thane, we are not inclined to pass any formal direction. We would however request the District Consumer Forum, Thane to decide the Consumer Complaint bearing No.173 of 2023 filed by the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 6 months from today.

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of Axis Bank Ltd (Respondent No.5), and who is also a party before the Consumer Court, on instructions, stated that till the disposal of Consumer Complaint No.173 of 2023, no coercive action will be taken against the Petitioner. The aforesaid statement is accepted as an undertaking given to the Court.

The Writ Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 5.
