The petitioner's application to implead himself in proceedings under the Bombay Regulation Act, 1827 has been rejected by the impugned order. However, it is informed that during the pendency of the present writ petition original proceedings seeking heirship certificate stands concluded. Hence, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous and the same stands disposed of accordingly.

The petitioner will have liberty to adopt appropriate proceedings as are permissible in law.
