We are informed by the learned counsel for Respondent No.3-The Maharashtra Maritime Board, Mumbai that the Petitioner's application for Certificate of the Registration of the petitioner's four vessels has not considered, and as there was certain deficiency, the said application could not be considered and accordingly was rejected. However, a formal communication of the deficiencies and reason for rejection has not been communicated to the petitioner, as informed by the learned counsel for respondent no.3, on instructions of officer, who is present in Court. WP10097-2024.doc this view of the matter, we are of the opinion that, it would be in the interest of justice that within one week from today, a communication being issued by respondent no.3 to the petitioner setting out all the reasons/deficiencies as to why the application of the petitioner for registration came to be rejected. The petitioner would be at liberty to remove all such deficiencies and make a fresh application. If such application is made by the petitioner, the same be considered in accordance with law and decision in that regard be taken within a period of three weeks from the making of such application. 2.

All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. 3.

Petition is disposed of.
