The only substantive relief in this Petition in prayer clause 24(B) reads as follows:

"(B) That the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ of mandamus or a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ and direct the Respondents specially to the Respondent No. 1 to conclude the proceedings of Section 39(1) of Village 25th July 2024

47-ASWP-10127-2024.DOC Panchayat Act 1959 thereby removing the present Sarpanch i.e. the present Respondent No. 4, Mrs Darshana Pimple from her post of Sarpanch of Pam Grampanchayat."

The learned 'B' Panel Counsel representing the State submits that proceedings under Section 39(1) of the Village Panchayat Act 1959 are in progress and the same would be concluded on or before 19th September 2024 following the principles of natural justice. 4.

By accepting the above statement and directing the concerned authorities to act consistently such statement, we dispose of this Petition.

Learned 'B' Panel Counsel is requested to communicate an authenticated copy of this order to the authority conducting the proceedings under Section 39(1).
