The learned counsel for the MMRDA states that the MMRDA officials will, without prejudice to their rights and contentions, once again verify whether the hoardings in question admeasure 60' x 40' and 80' x 40' as concluded in the impugned orders dated 11 July 2024.

As mentioned in the order dated 11 July 2023 which is impugned in Writ Petition No. 10219 of 2024, the officials of the MMRDA will also measure the distance between 2 hoardings to see whether the distance of 70 mtrs as required under the rules of 2022 is maintained.

At the request of the learned counsel for the MMRDA and to enable MMRDA officials to undertake the above works, stand over to 24 July 2024.

In fact, the inspection should be in the context of the rules/ guidelines of 2022. Officials should determine whether the hoardings at the site align with the requirements of the rules/ guidelines.
