CORAM : A.S. CHANDURKAR & RAJESH S. PATIL, JJ DATE : 6th AUGUST, 2024 P.C. :- Considering the nature of directions proposed to be isued, service of notice on the respondent no.7 is dispensed with. 2.

The petitioner seeks expeditious consideration of the stay application preferred by him along with the revision application that has been filed under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. In the said revision application,

2/3 order dated 20th March, 2024 passed by the Commissioner of Cooeperation is under challenge. According to the petitioner, though the revision application was filed in April 2024, it has not yet been taken up for consideration.

Cosnidering the aforesaid, the following directions will serve the ends of justice :-

(1) The respondent no.1 shall consider the stay application preferred by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of ten days of the receipt of this order.

(2) The revision application preferred by the petitioner shall thereafter be decided on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

(3) It is clarified that all the points on merits are kept open.

The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions. The petitioner shall serve copy of this order on the respondent no.7.
