Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner. 2.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that there are no promotional avenues to the Petitioner who is working as Headmaster. It is contended that in respect of other posts, including that of Assistant Teacher, Primary Teacher and Secondary Teacher, promotional avenues are available. The Petitioner has made a representation to the Secretary Tribal Development Department, Maharashtra State on 03/01/2024. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the representation dated 03/01/2024 is not yet decided.

We are not inclined to express any opinion on the contentions raised, as the representation is pending.

We only request the Secretary, Tribal Development Department, Maharashtra State, to decide the Application of the Petitioner dated 03/1/2024 as expeditiously as possible and look into the grievance of the Petitioner. A decision thereon be taken within a period of 8 weeks from today. All contentions of the Parties are kept open.

Writ Petition stands disposed off in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
