These five Petitioners are before the Court with a grievance that the proposal dated 15th November, 2022 seeking approval to the appointments, is pending with Respondent No.3. 2.

The learned AGP submits that the proposal would be decided on its own merits within a time line, as this Court may direct.

In view of the above, we direct Respondent No.3 to conduct a meticulous inquiry and verify all the records pertaining to the selection and appointment of the Petitioners and take a decision as regards the request for grant of proposal on its own merits, within a period of 75 days from today. We make it clear that we have not expressed any view or opinion as regards the proposal. 4.
