The learned AGP, for the Respondent No. 1 - State, states that the concerned Tahsildar has not been able to take possession of the secured asset of the Petitioner, in view of the concerned Police station not providing protection to the Tahsildar while taking possession.

It is pertinent to note that by an order dated 5th August 1/2

905-WP-10820-24.doc 2024, this Court had granted time to the learned AGP to obtain instructions regarding the time within which steps will be taken to deliver possession of the secured asset to the Petitioner. 3.

It is an unfortunate state of affairs that for a period over one year and five months, the concerned Tahsildar has not take possession of the secured asset of the Petitioner. 4.

We direct the concerned Tahsildar to take possession and deliver the secured asset to the Petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of and shall be placed for compliance on 1st December 2025.
