CORAM

DATE : AUGUST 05, 2025 P.C.
:
1.
Heard Mr. Kamat, learned Senior Advocate for Petitioner; Ms. Yewale, learned Advocate for Respondent No.1; Ms. Gavhane, learned AGP for Respondent Nos.2 and 7 and Mr. Kekane, learned Advocate for Respondent No.3.
2.
Today when the matter is part-heard and listed before me, Advocate for Respondent - Society is not present. 3.
Ms. Yewale informs the Court that she is unwell and when the matter is proposed to be kept tomorrow or day after tomorrow, she informs the Court to adjourn the matter by two weeks. 4.
Such impression given to the Court primarily shows that
3.WP.11164.2024.doc Respondent - Society is avoiding to argue further. 5.
The Writ Petition is partly heard. I have finished hearing Mr. Kamat and the supporting Respondent Mr. Thorat on the last occasion and Advocate for Society had already almost finished her submissions, when this Court had asked and posed several questions to the Society which could not be answered.
6.
Be that as it may, Application made for two weeks adjournment is rejected by the Court, since this Court gets a distinct impression from the Advocate for Respondent - Society that an attempt is made to protract and prolong hearing of the present case. 7.
Considering the request made on account of personal difficulty of ill-health of the Advocate of Society, Ms. Yewale has then agreed to let the matter be kept next week. Her request is accepted. 8.
It is clarified that no further adjournment shall be granted which shall be noted by the Respondent - Society. 9.
