DATE : 13 AUGUST 2024 P.C. :- The Petitioners are relying on the Government Resolution dated 20 April 2023 in respect of their claim for promotion on the basis that they fall under reservation category for physically disabled persons. The learned Counsel for the Petitioners states that the State has revised its policy and has issued a fresh Government Resolution dated 29 July 2024.

In view of this position, we permit the Petitioners to make an applications to the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 - Zilla Parishad, Pune. The Zilla Parishad, Pune is directed to examine the applications and the relevant Government Resolution and communicate the outcome to the Petitioners within a period of eight weeks from filing of the applications, subject to earlier urgent time bound commitments.

Since the Zilla Parishad, Pune is not before us, the applications will be decided on its own merits as per the applicable policy and as per the placement of the Petitioners in the seniority list. 4.

The Writ Petitions are disposed of.
