Rule. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondent no.1. Considering the nature of directions proposed to be issued, service on other respondents is dispensed with. 2.
The only relief sought by the petitioners is for expeditious consideration of the Revision Application preferred by them under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 that is pending before the State Government since 4th October 2018. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite various requests made the Revision Application is still pending. 3.
In view of aforesaid, the following directions will serve the ends of justice:
Diksha Rane 17. WP 11510-24.doc (I) As the Revision Application is pending since the year 2018, it is directed to be decided on its own merits within a period of eight weeks of receiving copy of this order.
(II) The Revision Application shall be decided after giving an opportunity to the respondents therein.
(III) The petitioners to serve the copy of this order on the respondent nos. 2 to 16 to enable them to take appropriate steps. 4.
By clarifying that all points are kept open, the Writ Petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions.

Rule is disposed of. No costs.
