The only grievance as made by the petitioners is that his representation dated 20 May 2024 - Exhibit I (page 30 of the Writ Petition) made to respondent No.3 - the Block Development Officer is not being decided. In this regard the petitioners have also made a grievance before the Chief Executive Officer that the representation is not being decided vide letter dated 21 June 2024 annexed at Exhibit J (page 34 of the Writ Petition).

The grievance of the petitioners is in regard to certain irregularities within the grampanchayat. We do not intend to delve on the merits of the petitioners' contention either in this petition or in the representation made to the Block Development Officer - respondent No.3, suffice it to observe P. V. Rane

906.odt that we direct respondent No.3 to decide the petitioners' representation as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks. All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. Ordered accordingly.
