The petitioners, the Bar Association and its office bearers, are aggrieved by the Government Resolution dated 24th July 2024 by which Additional Tahsil Office has been created at Mauje Angar, Tal. Mohol, Dist. Solapur. It is urged by the learned Senior Advocate for the petitioners that the prescribed procedure as required to be followed under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 has not been followed. He relies upon the decisions in Prashant Babusaheb Ghiramkar Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors., 2013(6) Mh.L.J. 703 and Dr. Avinash Ramkrishna Kashiwar and Ors. Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors., 2015(5) Mh.L.J. 830 in that regard.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 13th September 2024. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for the respondents.
