DATED : 26 September 2025 P.C.:- 1.
Mr. Chandrakant Shah appears in person and Mr. Akerkar appears for Respondent Nos.2 & 3. Mr. Chandrakant Shah, very fairly states that he does not wish to presently press this Petition or rather he seeks leave to withdraw this Petition given the decision of coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of All India IDBI Officers Association & Ors. Vs. Union of India & Ors.1 and Mrinmayee Rohit Umrotkar Vs. Union of India & Ors.2. However, he seeks liberty to file fresh proceedings to challenge the impugned orders, in case, the above two decisions, which have already been appealed before the 2023(1) Bom.C.R. 644 Writ Petition (L) No.6704 of 2020 decided on 8 December 2020.
905-WP-11903-2024.DOCX Hon'ble Supreme Court are reversed or if the Hon'ble Supreme Court, in some other matters, takes a different view. 2.
Accordingly, we allow the withdrawal of this Petition with liberty as prayed for. However, we clarify that all contentions of all parties in the merits of the matter are left open because we have not examined the same. This Petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty in the above terms. No costs.
