On 23rd August 2024, time was granted to the learned Assistant Government Pleader to obtain instructions as regards the period within which the Revision Application preferred by the petitioner would be decided.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the proceedings would be decided expeditiously. 3.

In the facts of the case, since the order dated 18th December 2023 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer is under challenge, the Revision Application shall be decided within a period of eight weeks of receiving copy of this order.

If a prayer for considering the stay application is made in the said proceedings that shall be decided within a period of three weeks from receipt of copy of this order.

All points on merits are kept open.
