Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that disqualification of Sarpanch is sought under Section 7 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959 as for the financial year 2022-23, four meetings of the Gram Sabha as mandated were not held.

Upon inquiry by this Court, as regards the meetings already held prior to the body being constituted on 20th December, 2022, he seeks time to file an Additional Affidavit placing the same on record. 3.

Let the Additional Affidavit be filed within a period of 1 week from today.
