The petitioners who are auction purchasers have approached this Court seeking expeditious consideration of the proceedings that have been filed by the borrower before the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal. On 2nd September 2024, time was granted to the respondent nos.3 and 4 to indicate the status of the proceedings filed by them before the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal. Today it is informed that on 22nd August 2024, the application seeking waiver of pre-deposit was considered. The next date of the proceedings is tomorrow.

proceedings are expedited. The parties are at liberty to make a specific request before the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal for a time bound disposal. All points on merits are kept open. The writ petition is disposed of.
