On 3/12/2024, the petition was disposed off by issuing directions for consideration of the proposal forwarded by the Management, within a stipulated period.

While disposing off the petition, the Court also expected the State of Maharashtra, to apprise about progress made in bringing Rule 41 B on the statute book. We are however informed by the learned AGP, that the same is in pipeline.
