This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed praying for the following reliefs:- "(A) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing respondent no.2 herein to decide the enquiry proceedings in the Change Reports bearing Change Report no.4 of 2015, Change Report no.5 of 2015. Change Report no.6 of 2015 and Change Report no.7 of 2015 (Exhibit A collectively), and Change Reports no. 986 of 2015. Change Report no.987 of 2015 and Change Report no.988 of 2015 (Exhibit B collectively), as expeditiously as possible and in the time bound manner and preferably within 4 weeks from the date of order." 2.

Thus, change reports which are of the year 2015 are pending adjudication before the Assistant Charity Commissioner, be ordered to be disposed of expeditiously in a time-bound manner and preferably within 4 weeks is the prayer in this petition.

We may observe that routinely these petitions are coming before the Court, and the parties requiring to approach this Court in view of the nondisposal of the change reports. 4.

We direct the Deputy Charity Commissioner, State of Maharashtra to place on record of this Court, the year-wise pendency of the change reports pending before the different Charity Commissioners in the State of Maharashtra.

Let a concise statement along with details thereof with appropriate annexures be placed on record on or before the adjourned date of hearing so that further appropriate orders can be passed taking into consideration the total pendency of the change reports, before each of the jurisdictional Deputy Charity Commissioners.

The Registrar (Judicial-I) shall communicate this order to the learned Charity Commissioner who shall do the needful on or before the returnable date.

7.

The Registrar (Judicial-I) shall place a copy of such statement/communication which would be received from the Deputy Charity Commissioner.
