The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the application under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Securities Interest Act, 2002 (for short 'the said Act'), the same is not being decided. He invites our attention to the judgment of the Supreme Court in NKGSB Cooperative Bank Limited versus Subir Chakravarty & Ors. (S.L.P. (Civil) No. 30240 of 2019) and submits that the aforesaid proceedings are required to be decided within the time frame indicated in Section 14 of the said Act.

We also note that this Court in L & T Finance Limited V/s. The State of Maharashtra & Ors. (Writ Petition No.15285 of 2022) along
Diksha Rane 5. WP 12602-24.doc with batch of other Writ Petitions issued various directions so as to enable the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate to take a special drive for the disposal of such proceedings.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader to take necessary instructions in this regard.

Shri Rahul Nerlekar, learned counsel who represents the High Court Administration, is requested to take necessary instructions as regards the steps taken pursuant to the aforesaid judgment dated 17th April 2023 and especially as regards the paragraphs 18(h) and (i). 5.
