The Petitioner who claims to belong to 'Koli Mahadeo'- Scheduled Tribe has sought admission in the Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) course for academic year 20242025. She has been admitted in the Institute of Engineering and Technology and she is required to submit Caste Validity Certificate by 9th September, 2024. The Petitioner has applied for grant of Validity 1/2 ADN
915-WP-12733-2024 (C) .doc Certificate on 16th July, 2024 before the Scrutiny Committee. The Scrutiny Committee has conducted the vigilance inquiry and the vigilance report dated 26th June, 2024 has been served upon the Petitioner. It is informed that the Scrutiny Committee has concluded the hearing and the final order is awaited.

On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that within period of two weeks from today, the final order on the application for grant of Validity Certificate would be passed. The statement is accepted.

Accordingly, the following order is passed :- (i) The Scrutiny Committee-Respondent No.6 shall decide the Petitioner's claim on its own merits in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of this order.
(ii) Subject to aforesaid, the Petitioner's admission shall not be cancelled till the proceedings are decided by the Scrutiny Committee. This direction subject to outcome of the Petitioner's tribe claim.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
