----------------- Mr. Devendra Rajapurkar i/b. Sachin Borhade, Chandan Chaudhary and Prashant Malik for Petitioner.

----------------- CORAM : R. I. CHAGLA AND ADVAIT M. SETHNA, JJ.
DATED : 30th MARCH, 2026 P.C.:- 1.
Having heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner, we were disinclined to entertain this Petition in view of the statements made that the Petitioner had cleared the Semester II of the L.L.M. Examination from the Respondent Nos.1 to 8 - University of Mumbai. 2.
It appears from the mark-sheet which has been annexed to the affidavit-in-reply of Respondent Nos.1 to 8 - University of Mumbai that the Petitioner has not cleared the Semester - II examinations, having failed in one subject. However, without granting any of the prayers in the Petition and merely out of indulgence, we direct the Respondent Nos.1 to 8 - Pallavi 1/2
2 15-WP-12736-2024 (C).doc University of Mumbai to allow the Petitioner to appear for Paper II - Legal Education & Research Methodology of Semester - II of the LL.M. Examination, without any equities created in favour of the Petitioner. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. 3.
This order is passed in the peculiar facts of the Petitioner's case and shall not be treated as a precedent. We have not expressed any view on the merits of the Petition.
