The petitioner is a student who is seeking admission in the Second Year Degree Course in Engineering and Technology, Academic Year 202425. He claims to belong to "Koli-Mahadev - Scheduled Tribes". His real uncle has been granted Validity Certificate on 19th December 2005. The petitioner has applied for grant of Validity Certificate pursuant to application dated 9th July 2024. The claim is presently pending. However, the last date for submission of Validity Certificate is 10th September 2024. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to rely upon Government Resolution dated 5th September 2024 in the matter of extension of time to submit Validity Certificates insofar as candidates from the Other Backward Class category are concerned. Digitally signed by SNEHA ABHAY DIXIT Date:

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 27th September 2024. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondent nos.1 and 2.

Leave granted to implead the State Common Entrance Test Cell as respondent no.4. The amendment be carried out forthwith. 5.

Prima facie considering the fact that the petitioner's uncle has been issued a Validity Certificate, it is directed that till the returnable date the petitioner's admission shall not be cancelled only on account of failure to submit the Validity Certificate.
