FINAL ORDER:- 1.
The petitioner impugns order dated 17.05.2024 passed by Registrar General, Money Lending, Pune in Revision Application
(2) No.21/2024, thereby refusing to entertain Revision Application filed by petitioner on ground that finality is given to order passed by SubRegistrar under Section 18(1) and (2) of Maharashtra Money Lending Act, 2014 (for short 'Act of 2014') and, therefore, Revision would not lie against judgment in Appeal.

Mr. Gurubala Birajdar, learned Advocate appearing for petitioner submits that impugned order is passed relying upon decision of this Court in Writ Petition No.14389/2019 dated 24.04.2024, whereby this Court had taken view that Revision would not be maintainable under Section 9 of Act of 2014 against judgment in Appeal passed under Section 18(1) and (2) of Act of 2014 by Divisional Joint Registrar. However, said judgment has been reviewed by this Court in Review Application (Civil) No.196/2024 and same has been recalled by order dated 12.09.2024. As such, Revision Application is maintainable. 3.
Mr. Ashok Tajane, learned Advocate appearing for respondent nos.4 and 5 and Mr. Patil, learned AGP appearing for respondents/State do not dispute aforesaid legal position. 4.
Having considered submissions advanced by learned Advocates appearing for respective parties, following order is passed:
ORDER
a.
Writ Petition is allowed.

The impugned order dated 17.05.2024 passed by Registrar General, Money Lending, Pune in Revision Application No.21/2024, is hereby quashed and set aside.
c.
The matter is relegated back to same authority to consider and decide Revision Application filed by petitioner under Section 9 of Maharashtra Money Lending Act, 2014, who shall pass fresh orders on merits after giving opportunity of hearing to all concerned. d.
Parties to appear before Registrar General, Money Lending, Pune on 20.01.2026.
e.
The Registrar General shall endeavour to decide Revision Application within period of four months from date of appearance of parties.
