The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that, the Appellate Authority under the Right to Information Act had conducted hearing of more than thousand matters on a single day. It is his further submission that, so far as Petitioner is concerned no intimation/notice of the hearing is given to him. This Court finds it strange as to how one thousand matters can be decided in a single day by the Authority, if merit of each case is considered. This reason itself is sufficient to stay the order impugned till next N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 8th October 2024.

There shall be stay to the impugned order till next date of hearing.
