The challenge raised in this Writ Petition is to the demand notice issued to the Petitioner seeking to recover the amount of arrears payable towards excavation of minor minerals under Section 48 (7) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. This demand is in view of the order dated 24th July 2024 passed by the Tahsildar. Since the statutory remedy of approaching the Sub Divisional Officer is available, we are not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition.

Keeping all points raised on merits open, the Writ Petition is disposed of as not entertained.
