The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that in absence of provision of police protection, the possession of the secured asset could not be taken on 17.01.2025. The Additional Government Pleader submits that if necessary charges are paid, police protection would be provided.

Accordingly, it is directed that in case, the Petitioner desires to obtain police protection while obtaining possession, it is free to make a request in accordance with rules.

The writ petition is disposed of by directing the Respondents to take necessary steps to deliver possession within a period of four weeks from receiving of a copy of this order.
